On the ACH transfer form, there is a box you can check that will withdraw all available cash. In the To account, select the external account you linked in the previous step. In the first drop-down menu, select the From account, which will be your TradeStation account. On the next page, you’ll get the Transfer Cash page. To do this, go back to the Deposits & Transfers page and click on Smart Transfer. Once you have your external account linked, now it’s time to move some money.
If you have a brokerage account with a firm like Fidelity or TD Ameritrade, you can also link your external brokerage account using account and routing numbers from the account’s core cash position, which functions just like a bank account. This is where you can establish a link to an external bank account. In the left-hand column, you’ll see a link that says Manage External Accounts. This will bring you to the Deposits & Transfers page. Once inside the client center, click on Transfer Funds in the top menu. Make sure you select Client Center from the list of login choices on the broker’s website and not one of the trading options. To move cash from your TradeStation brokerage account to an external deposit account, you first need to log into the client center on TradeStation’s website.
